

How to use
1. Visit the Karma website (https://www.karmaapp.io/) to access the Tobet web version
2. Install (or access) Scatter (https://get-scatter.com) for the desktop version is recommended. Alternatively, you can create a new EOS address or use your existing one by importing private keys.
3. Navigate to the KARMA website. https://www.karmaapp.io/
Functionality
The Up-Vote Function:
Just like every conventional social media where users can like posts made by other user, same thing applies to KARMA App but instead of likes users upvote content creators by casting their vote on the post which in turn channels were KARMA coin should be allocated to in the reward pool.
Downvote Function:
Similar to the upvote feature the downvote feature function in the negative as a control measure to self regulate the system. Downvotes will help reduce abuses, spamming and most especially fallacious contents upload.
Comment:
Users will be able to comment under posts uploaded by content creators to shed more light on the events, contribute and encourage the content creators positively.
Share:
This feature as stated in the white paper will be a great tool of spreading the contents on other social media platform which will enable more person access these contents.
Categories:
The KARMA App will be launched with pre existing categories to enable users filter information and streamline their area of interest. As time goes more and more categories will be created to accommodate more works of life.
User Profile:
Users will be able to upload profile photos, their age and one other awesome thing about themselves.
In-App Wallet:
Within the KARMA application, users will be able to send & receive KARMA. Also, users can store their KARMA within their mobile wallet. This allows KARMA to be used in a variety of ways both in-app and in the world. More features will develop within the KARMA wallet as the project evolves.
KARMA Post - Photos & Videos and Upload of Posts:
Posting of videos and pictures will also be possible to ensure that every post is detailed and well documented. The reduce the stress of searching categories without aim, KARMA will make it possible for user to be able to add caption, location and category to their posts, pictures and videos so everyone can identify where the event actually occurred.
KARMA Idea Generator:
This function will exist to spark ideas as to what someone can do next to provide value for others in the world. There will be a simple interface for users to click a button and get a KARMA idea so as to support their environment.
According to the KARMA timeline the KARMA DApp is scheduled to launch in the 4th quarter of the year 2018. Everything above are speculations in anticipation of the launch of the KARMA DApp.

The KARMA platform uses the KARMA token. A total of 5.4 billion KARMA which represents 31% was allocated for initial airdrop to be distributed to EOS token holders at a ratio of 9:1 which means that for every 1 EOS token held, a users will receive 9 KARMA. This distribution will be done using the Genesis Block Snapshot.
A total of 30% of KARMA will be use as incentive for the founding team for ongoing development and as compensation for future contributions, and 20% will be use for future airdrop, while 9% for marketing and 3% for advisors.
As new KARMA is created daily, it flows into four separate pools, with each been operated for a specific purpose aimed at adding value to the KARMA project. The various pools include:

KARMA can be staked for a minimum time of 3 days. This will give a stronger upvote.
The team is dedicated to its work, although as at the time of this review, they are currently behind schedule in the release of the KARMA Version 1.0 app.

Speed Index
Speed Index shows how quickly the contents of a page are visibly populated. It takes the DAPP approximately 7.1s to visibly populate contents as opposed to other DAPPs on the EOS blockchain.
Time to Interactive
Interactive marks the time at which the page is fully interactive. Upon loading the DAPP it takes about 6.2s for it to become interactive compared to other DAPPs

First Meaningful Paint measures when the primary content of a page is visible.
First CPU idle
First CPU Idle marks the first time at which the page's main thread is quiet enough to handle input.
Estimated Input Latency
The score above is an estimate of how long your app takes to respond to user input, in milliseconds, during the busiest 5s window of page load. If your latency is higher than 50 ms, users may perceive your app as laggy. Since the DAPP is 720ms we can say it’s quite slow to response as perceived by users
