The platform now has a Baccarat card game, a four hour lottery, and an hourly lucky draw, with more games planned for the future. Placing bets earns DICE tokens, which can be staked for a share of the house profits. The house edge is 1.5%.

3. Fund the account with EOS
4. Navigate to the Bet Dice website, set your permissions, and place your
The Scatter extension on chrome or the desktop scatter wallet can be used to safely bet on the Bet Dice website, MEET.ONE can be used to access the website on mobile. A separate profile does not need to be created on the Bet Dice website itself, as the relevant information is taken directly from your EOS account via your wallet. These apps are constantly being updated to accommodate for the ever changing ecosystem in EOS.
The web design is easy on the eye, using a plain blue background and yellow highlights for icon selections to make the interface easy to understand. As much information as possible is squeezed onto one part of the screen. However, by scrolling down you are able to see live bets being placed on dice, as well as a variety of other options and statistics, such as being able to see your recent bets as well as some of the largest payouts and wagers of all time. After logging in the slider can be used to set your bet, and an autobet fuction can be switched on and off. If it's turned on, the autobet will keep rolling without your input until you don't have enough EOS for the wager, or you switch the autobet off. Token icons at the top of the screen can be selected to allow you to wager in different tokens, however, you will only receive DICE token rewards for betting if you bet with EOS. Every time 5% of the total supply cap of DICE tokens is 'mined' through dice rewards to players, the amount of DICE you receive per EOS wagered halves. Currently the DICE reward is 3. 1250 DICE per 1 EOS wagered. Currently around 47% of the total supply is in circulation. There is also an hourly giveaway contest, where the top 5 accounts with the most EOS wagered for that hour are awarded a large amount of EOS.
You can click tabs at the top or to the side of the screen to play different games besides dice. You will earn a ticket in the lottery per EOS you wager, which you can then choose to claim if you want to enter the lottery. The tickets will pile up in case you don’t want to enter the current lottery. Additionally, 1,000 lottery tickets can be purchased with 1 EOS. Baccarat functions very similar to traditional forms of Baccarat found in other casinos, with DICE allowing the player to bet on Player pair and Banker pair options in addition to the usual Player, Banker, and Tie Bets. You can place as many bets as you want on different parts of the board in a single round. As the rules of Baccarat are quite complex, they are outside of the scope of this review, however information on the rules is very easy to find online.
The site also has a lucky draw function. Every hour, you can click the button and win free EOS depending on the number drawn. You have a maximum of 10 draws. You earn one draw every 24 hours, and you also earn a draw every time you wager 1 EOS on any of the games. Winning a substantial amount of EOS is extremely rare, however, so its primary function is to encourage the user to bet. Dice also has an internal exchange, with EOS/DICE, pairings as well as pairings with EOS for the other supported tokens supported by Bet Dice. Dice also has a VIP system, which will rank up your EOS account every time you hit a threshold of wagered EOS. Each rank will shave off a small percentage of the house edge, by sending you a small portion of each of your bets to your payouts tab. A referal link, a guide, a link to CPU emergency, and the payouts tab are listed at the top of the page. The payouts tab allows you to stake or unstake your tokens, view the hourly payout pool and payout pool history, and check your balance. Your balance can be claimed at any time, but funds are only added to your balance on an hourly basis. DICE tokens can be easily staked, however they take 24 hours to unstake. While staked, your DICE tokens cannot be moved, however they must be staked in order to earn dividend rewards.
While Bet Dice have not been hacked as of yet, this is largely on account of Bet Dice not being open sourced, as they lack a Github page and have not released the code for public verification.
While seeds for bets can be viewed on the blockchain per transaction and thus be verified, and the team have not been proven to cheat as of yet, for crypto enthusiasts who value decentralisation and transparency, this is a concern. As transactions are verified through Scatter, there is at least no risk that your private keys are in danger by using the platform.
Bet Dice is poised for great success, as the team has been working hard to keep the site updated with new games, tweaks to existing games, and constant changes to UI over the course of the platform’s short lifespan. Although the UI is functional and legible, to be perfect it could use some extra animations, music, colours, and sound effects to really feel like a proffessional, fun site. Overall though, in terms of functionality and quantity of games and features, they are already ahead of other gambling Dapps on EOS despite lacking the first mover advantage Crucially, one of the few thins that has not changed since the launch of profit sharing is the token economics and ‘mining’ rate for DICE rewards, allowing investors peace of mind and predictability. While the lack of open source code is cause for concern, the provably fair seeds in the transations, as well as the lack of hacks on Bet Dice’s smart contract seems to show that keeping the code hidden from the public was a good decision in the short term. The token economics and the games are built to encourage continuous revisits to the website itself rather than ignoring it for long stretches of time, encouraging engagement with both the games and the community. As other projects in the space update too slowly or exit scam, Bet Dice is so far proving itself to be a platform worth watching.
On a personal note, I would appreciate it if Bet Dice, or even another Dapp started work on a skill based game built on EOS. As currently, all the games on Bet Dice are entirely luck based. I feel that the first gaming Dapp that creates a genuinely fun, skill based game that rewards the most talented and dedicated, as opposed to the most wealthy players will have a huge edge over other Dapps in the EOS space. No such games have been announced for Bet Dice as of yet, but I would be very happy to see Bet Dice implement something like a Player vs Player Poker game to start off with.
