Functionality & Important Features
Top Bidder is an EOS bidding DApp that gives its users the opportunity to bid for their choice account name and the highest bidder within a given time frame gets the liberty to create or handle the said account within the confines of the terms and conditions of Top Bidder DApp.
How it Works:
Every user who have an already existing scatter account and EOS account can bid provided they have more than 0.05 EOS in their account. (new users can download scatter and create an EOS account to participate). When the bidding begins, a certain number of short accounts will be released into the bidding pool to start the bidding. Users can select the short account to bid and participate in the bidding at the current price of 1.1 times, and the previous bidder will earn back the principal. There will be 10% as the additional premium. 20% of this will be the profits to previous bidder, 19% of this will be entered into the Rewards Pool as the incentive rewards, and 1% of this will be rewarded to the inviter of bidder. If there is no inviter, the invitation rewards will enter to the rewards pool. The starting price of all accounts is 0.05EOS. It is dependent on how important that particular account you created or that is released is to the bidders. When an account have not bidden by a higher price for over 12/24 hours, the top bidder will take the permission for creating this account and also get the factor for prize pool's dividends. Below are screen active bidding account.
The Reserve Pool:
Every user who makes a bid, bids 10% more than what the last bidder bids. So it is this 10% that will be distributed. It is from this that 19% will be sent to the reward pool. When the total value of the account contribution reaches 100,000, the 50% of the rewards pool will be distributed according to the contribution value, and the contribution value of all users will be halved after the dividend.
